Our Story
Loomtex is an extension of Malaika Textile that operates in Istanbul, Turkey as a leading brand in the textile sector, with a strong focus on quality, trust, and sustainability. Founded in 2013 under the vision of Sarah Okan and Omar Malaika, the company plays a pioneering role in production and supply across various industries, primarily in security, workwear, hospitality and the healthcare sectors.
The company is managed by a team of qualified and experienced professionals that ensure optimum quality, reliability and customer service. Its management and warehouse staff together consists of 50 employees. Meanwhile, the production workforce, spread across 8 different facilities, reaches approximately 400 employees, forming the backbone of Malaika Textile’s operational excellence.
The production ecosystem is designed with the flexibility to adapt to customer needs, enabling the company to respond quickly and effectively to increases in demand across a variety of industries. The ability to scale up our workforce expands Malaika Textiles’s production capacity but also provides the flexibility to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

Loomtex is a Saudi based textile manufacturing company, established as the sister company and natural extension of Malaika Textile, one of Turkey’s most trusted and experienced players in its sector. Building on Malaika’s decade long experience andreputation for quality, reliability, and sustainability, Loomtex is set to deliver world class textile solutions tailored to the needs of the Saudi and wider GCC market.
Our foundation is built on the proven expertise of Malaika Textile, which operates with over 450 skilled employees across 8 production facilities, supplying high quality textile solution to diverse industries including security, workwear, healthcare, hospitality, and fashion. Loomtex leverages this wealth of knowledge, operational excellence, and international credibility to provide the Saudi market with products that meet the highest standards.
As part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 transformation, Loomtex aims to contribute to the localization of industries and the development of high quality, sustainable supply chains.
